Adrina Beach Hotel This A category hotel enjoys an unparalleled beachfront position in the bay of Panormos on the South West facing coast. It is a very well designed hotel built on a hillside with low level whitewashed buildings set on terraces which drop down to the large seawater pool and to the fantastically clear sea lapping gently onto the shingle beach. Prince Stafilos Hotel Located 500 metres around the bay from the heart of Skopelos waterfront, this hotel is built in traditional style, with a grey slate roof and is situated in its own large well tended grounds. Alkistis Studio and Apartments This A category complex is conveniently situated on the road from Skopelos town to Stafilos beach-approximately 2 kms from both. In our opinion, this is one of the best family accommodations on the island: It has a wonderful, large swimming pool with childrens area and a swim-up pool bar; all the studios and apartments are spacious, and have airconditioning, radio and telephone; there is a minimarket for your essentials, and a courtesy minibus to take you into town throughout the day; Finally, the complex is well-run by friendly and relaxed staff. Sotos Pension This little pension has great charm, and is located right in the central area of the waterfront. It is the result of a conversion of two town houses, and one of it best features is its central communal courtyard with shade provided by citrus trees, and its sun terrace which has a partial sea view. All the rooms have ensuite bathrooms, and are simply but tastefully furnished. There is a communal kitchen with fridge and facilities to make light meals, and a reception area. Atrion Rooms All of the rooms at this small, simple complex have stunning views; the complex is located at the top of the village, giving superb vistas of the village, the port and the mountains. All the rooms are spacious, and have ensuite bathrooms, and their own fridge, and balcony. There is a communal kitchen where you can make a coffee or prepare breakfast. This accommodation is suited to those looking for simple, economic holidays. Due to its position at the top of the village, we recommend moped/car hire for all but the fit!

Athina Apartments Just a few paces away from the Atrion rooms, these studio/apartments share similar wonderful views of village and sea, but are for those who wish to have more flexibility to cater for themselves-all the units have their own kitchen equipped for preparation of simple meals. The studios are suitable for two to three persons-there is an extra bed in the kitchen area. The apartments are spacious, with two twin bedrooms and an extra bed in the kitchen area-therefore they can accommodate up to five comfortably; they also have two bathrooms, so are also suitable for two couples. All the units have their own balcony or terrace with sea view, and there is a very pleasant garden area to sit out in. The complex has been upgraded for the 2002 season, and all units are now airconditioned and have TV.The owners are very friendly and on hand for any assistance you might need. As with the Atrion rooms, moped/car hire recommended!

Mirsinis House For relaxing beach based holidays, you can't beat this simple holiday cottage; Located just a few metres by path from the shingle beach of Glyfoneri, the house enjoys privacy and peace and quiet. The grounds are shaded by two huge pine trees. The house itself comprises two bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms with shower and WC. One bedroom has a double and single bed, while the other has two singles. There is a simple kitchen equipped with mini oven and fridge. All three rooms are accessed from the front terrace only-they are not interlinked. The cottage offers comfortable but extremely simple- in- style accommodation; Its most likely however that you will be spending your days and evenings outside-long leisurely lunches and dinners at the huge stone table and barbecue, and swimming and sunning just a couple of minutes awayat the beach. Skopelos port is an approximate 10 minute drive away, and if you get tired of self-catering, there are two tavernas a five minute walk up the hill from the cottage, which are open from June until September.

Panormos Houses These two houses enjoy an incredibly scenic location, at the inlet of Blo, a sheltered small bay to the left of Panormos beach. A stay in one of these two houses guarantees a relaxing holiday right on the sea's edge. Both houses have lovely views, across the calm water to the pine forests opposite. The main beach village of Panormos is just a short walk away (approximately 500 metres) Here you will find a choice of tavernas, a couple of cafe-bars,and two minimarkets. From here you are also able to catch a bus to Skopelos town as well as to the other beaches of the island.

Vangelis House This small cottage offers simple accommodation in a stunning setting. Comprises open plan kitchen-dining room with two bunk beds for children, separate bedroom with double bed and bathroom with bath and WC. Sleeps 2-4 persons

Glysteri House This two storey country house is located an approximate 10 minutes drive from Skopelos port, above the valley and beach of Glysteri.From its balcony and spacious terraces, lovely views of the pine covered mountain opposite and the green valley sweeping down to the sheltered bay of Glysteri can be savoured. The main entrance opens into the top floor of the house which comprises a living/sleeping room with double bed, and an ensuite bathroom with shower and WC. French windows open onto the balcony with its sea and mountain views. Wooden stairs lead down to the lower floor which is split level; on the upper level is a sleeping area with sofa bed for a third person. The lower level comprises dining-living room with fireplace. Off the dining room is a fully equipped kitchen and a second bathroom with shower and WC. Both levels have access to a huge terrace with its wonderful views and a barbeque for outdoor meals. The beach of Glysteri can be reached in approximately 10 minutes by car or alternatively by a footpath which winds sharply down the hill to the valley

Mimis House This stunning town house is located beneath the old castle walls in the neighbourhood of Kastro. It is a lovely example of the island's architecture, built on three storeys; its owner has preserved the house's original features with the utmost care, and amplified them with stylish and tasteful furnishings. Entrance is into a small walled courtyard, into the house's ground floor which comprises a very spacious kitchen-dining room with wooden ceiling, and cool flagged flooring. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, coffee-percolator and fridge. Off the kitchen is a fully-tiled bathroom with bathtub. Up a flight of stairs is the middle floor of the house which has two bedrooms; one with antique double bed, with limited sea views, and the other with twin beds, and access to a small terrace with views to the picturesque small church directly in front of the house and to the sea. From here, there are steps up to the main garden terrace. The top floor of the house comprises a wonderful, large living room with couch, traditional corner fireplace, and a divan double bed. French windows open both onto a wooden balcony and also onto the main terrace, and both have views over the village rooftops, to the harbour, and to the mountains. The roomy terrace is a lovely sheltered spot with shade provided by pomegranate, hibiscus and citrus trees, and colour provided by potted flowers. There is plenty of room to sunbathe, to enjoy the views, or to dine outside-there is also a stone-built barbeque. Off the terrace is a small shower room, and a single bedroom. Sleeps up to seven persons.

Rania Studio-Apartments This small complex of studios and apartments is located at the little port of Loutraki, at the other end of the island from Skopelos town. Built fairly recently on the hill above Loutraki, it has lovely views over Skiathos and Evia, From the apartments terraces, the sunsets are superb. The studios and apartments are furnished in a modern comfortable style, and all have fridge and electric rings for the preparation of simple meals, and ensuite bathrooms with shower and WC. While they enjoy peace and quiet, the apartments are just a minutes walk away from Loutrakis waterfront with its selection of tavernas and cafes, and its shingle beach. For those who would like a dip in a swimming pool, the facilities at Alexanders cafe-bar, which is just a 3 minute walk away, are available with the purchase of a drink or snack. To access the island other beaches, and Skopelos town, there is a local bus service, or car or boat hire.

Villa Ble Apartments Located amid peaceful olive groves just an approximate 10 minute walk from Skopelos waterfront, these comfortable studios and apartments offer quiet accommodation within easy reach of all the village facilities and attractions.
