Yasmina House

This town house is a fine old property which has been carefully and lovingly renovated: The owner has made sure that all the best traditional features such as wooden floors, have been preserved, and has added on modern kitchen and bathroom facilities, making this a comfortable holiday home for couples and families. It is located at the end of a tiny street, close by to the church of Panagia Papamelitiou, in a quiet residential area of the village.
Its most outstanding feature is its huge courtyard, with shade from lemon and orange trees, and scented by a jasmine which gives the property its name. There are sunloungers and an outside table and directors chairs. The house itself is built on two levels. The main entrance opens into the hallway off which are a small bedroom with two single beds, and the dining room. A door from here opens into the courtyard and to the the annexe which houses the kitchen and the bathroom. The kitchen has a rustic feel with terracotta tiling, and open wooden shelving. It is equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, toaster and coffee percolator. The bathroom is fully tiled and has shower and WC.
The top floor of Yasmina has a huge open plan room with a high ceiling, with exposed wooden beams. It is very light and airy with windows on two sides of the room, and French windows opening onto a wooden balcony which has town and partial sea views. There is a double bed and a sitting area with a day-bed, and armchairs.
This house combines comfortable and stylish interiors with a really spacious and private courtyard ideal for outdoor dining and relaxing in the sun or shade. Access to the waterfront of town with its selection of cafes, bars and restaurants is easy (stepped streets so not suitable for those with limited mobility), and takes approximately 5 minutes (downhill!)
