This pretty cottage is built on the verdant hillside just above Stafilos beach, and is perfect for countryside and beach lovers.. The owners have carefully renovated their old family kalivi, and the result is a very comfortable house. Built on two levels, the ground floor comprises a spacious living room with sofa bed and traditional fireplace. Off the living room is the fully equipped kitchen and fully tiled bathroom with shower and WC. Wooden stairs lead to the top floor which comprises double bedroom with lovely exposed wooden ceiling. French windows open onto a small balcony with wonderful sea views. The house has a large terraced area in front which is perfect for outdoor cooking on the barbeque ,sunbathing, and taking in the views across the sea to Evia. The beaches of Stafilos and Velanio are an approximate 300 metres walk away. There are two tavernas at Stafilos open from May until September, and one more which opens for the high season. The bus stop for services into Skopelos town and to the other beaches of the island is located approximately 300 metres away from the house, and there is a minimarket approximately 400 metres further on.
