BOAT RENTAL Skopelos has a beautiful and varied coastline, in places pine forests descend all the way down to sandy coves, and in others craggy cliffs and caves provide a more dramatic land and sea scape. Much of the coast cannot be accessed by public transport or by car; hiring a boat will give you the opportunity to get a more complete idea of the island, and will also get you to beaches which most people don't get to see. Take a picnic and find your own 'getaway from it all' cove or beach-chances are that even in the peak of the summer, you will have the place to yourself-just you, your companion(s), and the sound of the sea lapping on the shore. If you like snorkelling, remember to take your gear with you-the sea is crystal clear, and you will probably find that you can't wait to dive in!
