Ambelokipos House
Located on the steep slopes of the hill opposite Skopelos town, Ambelokipos House offers fantastic views of Skopelos town, the surrounding hills, the harbour, and the open sea. The views captivate you in different ways acording to the time of day, but perhaps the most special time is as the sun sinks behind Skopelos town, and as the lights along the waterfront and in the village start to twinkle. Although Ambelokipos House position gives it complete privacy and tranquillity, the drive up to the house takes only 15 minutes, and offers wonderful views of the monasteries of Evangelismos and Metamorphosis along the way.(Most of the drive is on asphalt road but the last stretch is a rough dirt track). The house was completed in the spring of 2004, and it has been finished to a high standard both inside and out. The steps from the parking space bring you down to the pool terrace. This is the perfect spot to soak up the sun, and take in the uninterrupted views. The freshwater pool measures 7 metres by 4 metres. In front of the house is a spacious sun terrace with table, chairs and sun-umbrella. The main door of the house opens into a spacious open plan living-dining room and kitchen. The living area has a large comfy sofa and armchair and corner fireplace, and French windows opening onto the sun terrace. The galley kitchen is fully equipped with fridge-freezer, electric oven with ceramic hob, and electric kettle. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with shower and WC, and a bedroom with twin beds,traditional pitched wooden ceiling and French windows onto the sun terrace. The second floor comprises the master bedroom with wrought-iron double bed, and French windows onto its own balcony. There is an ensuite bathroom with shower and WC.
