Almond Tree Cottage
This newly completed property is located in its own large piece of land, on the old road to Stafilos, amid an almond tree orchard, olive grove, and cypress trees.
Its position is perfect, being just two kilometres from town (keen walkers do not necessarily need a car here), and two kilometres along the scenic and quiet old road from Stafilos and Velanio beach. Additionally, the house has wonderful views from its top terrace, over the countryside to Skopelos town, and out to sea, plus lots of outdoor space for relaxing around the pool, soaking up the sun or taking it easy in a shady spot.
The interior of the house is very modern and comfortable. The main door opens into the open-plan living room-kitchen with its very high wooden beamed ceiling. The living room area has sofa seating, satellite TV and DVD player. The kitchen area is extremely well equipped for self-catering. Off the living room is the bathroom which has been fully tiled and which has bath with shower attachment and WC. Also off the living room is the main bedroom which has double bed, and overlooks the pool area. Wooden steps up from the living room ascend to the mezzanine level which has two single beds. A door from this room opens onto the upper terrace which has table and chairs and superb views to the sea and surrounding countryside.
There are terraces on all sides of the house so there is always a sunny or shady spot. The freshwater swimming pool measures 6 metres x 3.6 metres with depth 1.10 metres at the shallow end and 1.70 metres at the deep end.
The rear terrace has barbeque area with outside sink.
This is perfect house for couples and families alike, looking for a peaceful holiday house within easy reach of the town and the sea.
